Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field, and 8-12 years of experience in an HRIS or similar role. They must have at least 6 years of experience with Workday, proficiency in 5 or more Workday modules including Core HCM, Reporting, Absence, Compensation, Talent, and Learning, and experience with Workday configuration, deployment, and maintenance. Strong analytical and communication skills are also required.
The Workday HRIS Lead will lead the Workday implementation, own the end-to-end configuration of the system, and provide support to other team members. This includes configuring and maintaining Workday core tenant functionality, establishing a holistic view of the Workday ecosystem, managing HRIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing data conversion, developing testing scripts, establishing communication plans, delivering end-user training, translating functional requirements into technical specifications, researching and troubleshooting complex issues, developing custom reports, and advising on HR metrics and AI solutions within Workday. The role also involves establishing HRIS roadmap, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and acting as a subject matter expert.
