About the Role

The Professional Services Financials Senior or Principal Consultant will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday solution by providing Workday product and implementation expertise. You will work with clients to understand their business requirements, configure and test the Workday solution, and report status to the Engagement Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Become a specialist in the Workday Financials product suite, focusing on Procure to Pay functionalities, including Workday Strategic Sourcing.
  • Lead design sessions for multiple financial functional areas.
  • Drive client business requirements.
  • Configure and prototype the Workday solution.
  • Demonstrate Workday features to clients.
  • Support clients with Unit Testing, End to End Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Work with the client and data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Complete assigned work within budgeted time.
  • Assist the integration consulting team with designing, configuring, and testing both packaged and custom integrations.
  • Learn, understand, and advise on Workday’s Deployment Methodology.
  • Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed-to checkpoints.
  • Mentor new Consultants.
  • Ensure clients leverage Workday best practices.
  • Ensure clients are reference-able post-production.
  • Participate in update training, supporting the ecosystem, and other events to share product skills.
  • Provide status reports to the Engagement Manager and keep them informed of project status.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Sr Financials Consultant (P4): 6+ years implementing Financial solutions.
