Workday is seeking a Principal Financial Consultant to contribute to the successful implementation of Workday’s financial solutions for healthcare customers. This role involves providing Workday product, industry, and deployment expertise, serving as a financial and accounting architect and advisor. The Principal Financial Consultant will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver outstanding results and contribute to the growth of Workday’s healthcare business.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of implementation or functional experience in Workday Financial Management.
  • Consulting Experience: 7+ years of consulting experience.
  • Financial Management Expertise: 7+ years of experience with General Ledger, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Grants Management.
  • Level: Principal Financial Consultant (P5) or Sr. Principal Financial Consultant (P6).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.
  • Resolve client requirements through tailored Workday financial solutions.
  • Demonstrate configurations and support the customer in testing.
  • Participate in updated training and other events that share product and industry skills with other consultants.
  • Partner with the Engagement Manager (PMO) to ensure successful project outcomes by actively participating in workstream meetings, providing status reports, and leading cross-functional sessions.
  • Participate in customer prospect discovery sessions.
  • Mentor and aid in the career growth of other team members.
  • Partner with healthcare leadership to set internal initiatives to drive innovation and improvements in deployments.
