The VP, xScale Strategic Initiatives role requires a leader with exceptional strategic thinking and deal negotiation skills, possessing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least 5 years of HR compliance experience. Strong knowledge of US, Canadian, and Mexican employment laws is required, along with preferred certifications and bilingual skills.
This role will lead and manage a team responsible for developing and executing negotiations with key clients, coordinating closely with account owners to understand customer context and needs, and fostering cross-functional collaboration across the organization with key stakeholders. The Strategic Negotiator will excel in deal negotiations, ensuring the team serves as the lead deal negotiator, demonstrating exceptional strategy and influencing skills to achieve optimal outcomes, owning the internal decision making to maximize deal value and margin, and developing the team’s ability to influence at the highest executive levels. Finally, this person will be expected to mentor, upskill and build a lean global team, understand the business models and incentives for the xScale business, and ensure there are win strategies defined with xScale differentiators.
