The VP of Sales should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in enterprise software sales, strong second line sales management experience, a proven track record of sales success, and demonstrable success driving large strategic accounts. They should also have experience remotely managing high performers, a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets, and an understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment in enterprise software.
The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving execution of Alteryx’s growth strategy and market objectives, creating and executing a strategic sales plan, achieving client-specific revenue and growth targets, owning the Alteryx relationship with strategic clients, identifying new business opportunities, setting and reviewing performance and sales goals, conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, directing sales opportunities including implementation plans, interpreting and adhering to sales policies, delivering sales forecasts, and demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills. They will also be responsible for recruitment and development of a sales team, coordinating internal and/or external professional services, and representing Alteryx in a polished and professional manner.
