Requirements

  • Typically 4-7 years experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline, or comparable work experience
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Experience managing all aspects of hypervisor platforms including installation, operation, performance, and availability
  • Experience automating deployments in AWS and on-prem, automating a server bring-up including power-on, OS installation, OS configuration, applications installation
  • General knowledge of basic IT functions like monitoring, alerting, single sign-on, basic networking, firewalls, etc
  • Production experience with Linux
  • Experience building, testing, packaging, and shipping production software in an end-to-end build pipeline
  • Git

Responsibilities

  • Deploying, configuring, automating, and monitoring several hypervisor solutions that will be used for development and product validation (HPE VME, VMWare vCenter, Nutanix AHV, and Hyper-V)
  • Integrating and automating product testing on a matrix of hypervisor/VM products and versions
  • Participate in on-call support as part of a rotational schedule
