Requirements

Candidates should possess tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science, or business, along with 3 years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical sales within a surgical environment. Demonstrated sales experience, particularly with medical devices, is preferred, and experience as a consultant for high-end medical consumables or capital equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of both the Phaco and VitRet portfolios, the ability to actively find new leads, especially competitive conversions, and articulating the benefit of AVS connectivity are also required.

Responsibilities

As a VitRet Manager – Surgical Sales, the individual will run demonstrations with technical service support, partner with VitRet consultants to upgrade procedures and defend competition, generate leads for the Visualization portfolio, maintain and optimize existing customer relationships, provide feedback on competitor activities, identify equipment opportunities, and uphold an excellent company image. They will also provide commercial solutions such as EFAs, bundles, and rentals, effectively present information, build trust with customers and colleagues, apply a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving, work independently, and demonstrate sound business decision-making.
