Role Overview

This position is part of the Commercial Services organization located in the United States and will be remote. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of a global customer service strategy that ensures consistency, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Align cross-functional teams across Customer Care, Sales Operations, Scientific Applications Support, and Service Operations to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Drive global commercial operations including forecasting, sales analytics, incentive compensation, sales training, and commercial data management.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture across all functions, embedding continuous improvement and Lean/DBS methodologies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally cohesive customer service and commercial operations team.
  • Implement globally standardized processes and advanced analytics to monitor performance and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in corporate strategic planning and influence global initiatives to enhance service quality and commercial effectiveness.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; B.A./B.S. in Biology or related life sciences field preferred.
  • MBA or graduate degree in life sciences preferred.
  • 10+ years of management experience in Customer Service, Sales Operations, or related functions—preferably in the Biotechnology or Life Sciences industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean/DBS concepts and building scalable, global processes.
  • Proven ability to lead large, high-performing teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel 25%, overnight, within territory or locations.

Preferred Experience

  • Genomics industry experience.
  • Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $250-280K
  • This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
