Requirements

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Corporate Controller will oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, treasury, and grants accounting. They will directly manage the production of accurate and timely financial statements, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, develop and implement internal controls, serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, and provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making and programmatic growth. Furthermore, the role involves collaborating with senior leadership, participating in Board meetings, mentoring the accounting team, and evaluating departmental structure for scalability.
