They should have at least 10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with fund accounting are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Director, Financial Reporting will be responsible for directing the overall operations functions of the Financial Reporting team, including transaction initiation and service requests. They will establish and implement procedures for maintaining and enhancing client service and quality, improve operational efficiency, and drive change within the business. The role involves serving as a point of contact for financial reporting expertise, preparing technical memorandums, managing client relationships, providing technical consulting, overseeing operational oversight, and participating in management skills training and development of staff.
