Description: The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is seeking a Director to lead the overall operations functions of the Financial Reporting team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional administration services to clients, interacting with various stakeholders (Fund Accounting, auditors, printers, SEI personnel), and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Director will establish and implement procedures for maintaining and enhancing client service, improving operational efficiency, and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience in financial reporting and administration
  • Ability to interpret and apply accounting and industry rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in client management and service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Client Management:
    • Understand, communicate, and resolve unique client issues in collaboration with SEI Relationship Teams.
    • Ensure the overall quality and delivery of services according to client-specific service models.
    • Serve as a senior technical and operational resource for clients.
    • Interact with the Board of Directors/Trustees connected to the Director’s service relationships.
    • Ensure the overall quality and delivery of Investor Reporting and Administrative services.
  • Technical Consulting:
    • Identify, interpret, apply, and communicate accounting and industry rules and regulations.
    • Create, communicate, monitor, and reinforce departmental vision, goals, and objectives.
    • Actively participate in regular senior management meetings and initiatives.
    • Promote integration of Fund Accounting Department with other SEI lines of business.
    • Participate in management skills training and development of staff.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Ensure premier client service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
    • Monitor all current service and quality indicators and establish related goals.
    • Provide daily oversight and review of significant fund level activities.
    • Set and enforce departmental policies.
    • Develop and communicate goals and objectives for the team, and formulate specific action plans.
