Requirements

  • Degree in International Relations, Languages, Management, Economics, Industrial/Systems Engineering, or Logistics
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Advanced Knowledge in German (preferred), or French, Italian
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Knowledge of logistics processes
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned suppliers, being responsible for sending orders to suppliers based on production plan demands and follow it until the receipt of the material at the factory
  • Ensure supplier communication and escalate supplier issues within the organization
  • Analyze supplier orders confirmations vs orders sent
  • Participate in supplier meetings
  • Support cross-functional internal teams (warehouse, production planning, customer logistics, operations, quality, global vendor planners and supply chain management)
  • Pursue and analyze supplier logistics claims
  • Interface with other factories from the group
