Candidates must be a US citizen and able to obtain a low-level security clearance, possess a Bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate 3+ years of experience creating and using prototypes, wireframes, user interviews, and data points to arrive at solutions. They should also have experience using UI mockup tools like UX Figma, Mural, and Adobe, an understanding of and ability to design 508 compliant solutions, adaptability when working with existing design systems, and a consultant mindset focused on client and user needs. Experience working in Agile development environments and taking direction from senior leadership are also required.
The UX Designer will work closely with engineering and product teams to manage, expand, and oversee the company’s portfolio of federal contracts, taking responsibility for all UX, design, and research on a core team. This role will oversee the entire design process, from conception to implementation, and will be the go-to person for design-related matters. They will perform other related duties as assigned, including formulating problems in clear language for diverse audiences and translating senior leadership direction into actionable steps.
