Candidates should possess 5+ years of UI/UX experience with expert knowledge of Figma and modular design principles. The role requires the ability to develop creative solutions, work in a fast-paced agile environment, and meet tight deadlines independently. Strong collaboration skills with product and engineering teams, expertise in responsive design, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. Experience with dashboard design and the education technology industry is preferred, along with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, web accessibility, and VR design principles.
The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing web products for learners, customers, and internal teams, including data-focused dashboards and web experiences for training and career exploration. Key duties include advocating for a unified user experience, collaborating with engineering on achievable UX, translating product specifications into design deliverables such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and visuals, and enhancing the Figma component library. The designer will also create and maintain prototypes, conduct design sessions, analyze user needs and behaviors using Design Thinking, and refine user interfaces based on testing results.
