Candidates must have proven experience with flow matching, diffusion models, and auto-regressive networks in the audio domain. They should also have experience training deep learning models, building streaming text-to-speech or speech-to-speech models, and possess strong foundations in audio modeling with a demonstrated ability to innovate rapidly through prototyping. Required skills include knowledge of state-of-the-art architectures in representation learning (audio or image domain, face animation), excellent programming skills, fluency in PyTorch, and evidence of original research with publications in top-tier or solid second-tier venues. A PhD or equivalent experience is preferred, as are skills in 3D graphics, Gaussian splatting, experience with generative models, and experience leading research teams. A background in software development best practices is also beneficial.
The AI Researcher will lead research efforts on generative video and audio models, including text-to-speech, speech-to-speech, and audio-to-expression topics. They will collaborate with the Applied ML team to productionize research findings and stay current with, as well as contribute to, the latest advancements in the field.
