Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age, possess a valid and current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and hold a Doubles Endorsement. They are required to have at least one year of experience driving a commercial vehicle up to 26,000 pounds, and must not have any DOT recordable accidents within the past three years. A successful candidate will also need to pass a physical examination as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

The Class A CDL driver will operate commercial vehicles up to 105,500 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight on Northwest Regional routes with overnight stays, completing required driving logs on an ELD system and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. They will also secure loads, verify shipping documents, complete paperwork, and maintain appropriate driving records while adhering to all applicable safety, DOT, and company rules and regulations.
