Candidates should possess a minimum of six years of experience in the construction industry and demonstrate aptitude in managing others, along with an understanding of prints, sketches, blueprints, and building plans with minimal instruction. They must also be proficient in using required technology to update project status, submit reports, and complete timecards.
The Traveling Construction Foreman will be responsible for assisting Traveling Superintendents and the internal project team with daily tasks, including coordinating subcontractors, reviewing material deliveries and quality of installations, and other documentation requirements on remote jobsites. This role involves travel to various project locations, adapting to different regional regulations, and coordinating with local authorities, inspectors, and utility providers. The Foreman will promote a culture of jobsite safety, rectify hazards, and ensure adherence to safety procedures. They will also review shop drawings and submittals, purchase materials, assist with vendor coordination, track deliveries, communicate with the project team, prepare notes and photos, perform inspections, complete documentation, and may utilize tools to help install work. Other duties as assigned will also be performed.
