Field Technician (Installation Specialist)

Candidates should possess prior experience with field work, such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and be comfortable driving a work van (Ford Transit) and occasionally a 1 ton pickup truck (Ram 3500) or towing a small trailer. Prior experience lifting up to 50 lbs is required, along with a willingness to be trained to operate and drive a bucket truck on occasion, and familiarity with using a tow behind compressor and stand on skid steer.
The Installation Technician will install poles of varying lengths per install specifications, requiring digging a minimum of 8” x 24” holes, assemble and install various ancillary components and Flock Safety products, mount solar panels on poles and attach external batteries, affix license-plate reading cameras to poles, work on both public and private roads, occasionally work with a bucket truck and/or ladder to work on equipment up to 30’ high, repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring, adhere to a daily schedule, complete work within a reasonable timeframe, provide installation pictures via the Flock field app, perform work in a safe and professional manner, meet with customers to discuss installation options and perform site surveys, communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, perform daily inventory management and reporting, and coordinate projects between end users and deployment teams.
