Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or a related field, or three additional years of relevant professional experience totaling 11+ years. They should have sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across various technologies, demonstrated innovation and communication of new deliverables, and the ability to lead teams in delivering multiple deliverables across multiple technologies. Furthermore, candidates are expected to possess an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies within a customer’s IT environment, frequently utilizing product and application knowledge, and holding a vendor or industry certification in at least one discipline area.

Responsibilities

The Transition/Program Manager will verify and implement detailed technical design solutions to identified problems, often providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions and regularly leading in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer. They will also provide a team structure conducive to high performance, manage the team lifecycle stages, coordinate implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations, and provide advanced technical consulting and advice to others on proposal efforts, solution design, and system management. Additionally, the role involves collecting and determining data to assist in determining customer needs, responding to technical information requests, developing customer technology solutions, proactively encouraging membership and contributions to professional communities, and contributing significantly to knowledge sharing within a community. The manager will also actively grow the company portfolio with existing customers through new opportunities and change management, create and support sales activities, manage bids, and produce complete proposals for smaller engagements within their area of expertise.
