Requirements

Applicants must reside in Illinois, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia, or Wisconsin. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with two or more years of professional experience in instructional design, learning facilitation, adult learning strategies, or adult learning theories. Three to five years of technical experience navigating multiple systems and platforms, prior experience in a consumer-centric company, proficient experience with Articulate 360 Suite (specifically Storyline 360), and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are also required. Occasional travel to the Schaumburg, IL office is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Learning Design Professional uses instructional design, cognitive psychology, and adult learning theory to address knowledge or performance gaps. Responsibilities include analyzing content, organizing content, designing solutions, and writing storyboards, scripts, performance support, mobile learning, and manuals. The role involves analyzing learning needs, partnering with subject matter experts, writing learning objectives, coordinating performance assessments, ensuring course materials are current, and tracking training program effectiveness. Additionally, the professional provides instruction to facilitators, plans and develops training curriculum and materials, and uses consultative skills to conduct needs analyses with clients.
