Requirements

Responsibilities

The Trade Compliance Assistant Manager will lead daily customs activities across UK affiliates, ensuring compliance with HMRC and global trade regulations, and manage a team of four. They will oversee import/export documentation and clearance, identify and mitigate trade compliance risks, and drive initiatives to streamline customs procedures. The role involves preparing compliance reports, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and delivering trade compliance training. Responsibilities also include maintaining records, supporting product classification and origin reviews, and managing broker performance through SLA and KPI reviews, acting as a subject matter expert on customs valuation, classification, and procedures.
