Therapy Specialist - Structural Heart

Position Overview

The purpose of our Structural Heart business is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a patient-focused Therapy Specialist to join a growing Structural Heart business which offers the full SH product portfolio, at an exciting time in the Company’s evolution.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for providing clinical case coverage of our TAVI technologies.
• Train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff, and ancillary personnel on the use of Abbott products.
• Provide technical support to physicians during procedures (London).
• Responsible for data dissemination in assigned sites and among referral chain of influence.

Requirements

• BS/BA in life sciences or marketing ideal, but experience considered.
• Prior TAVI experience.
• Strong clinical orientation: training clinicians and providing technical assistance during procedures, including trouble-shooting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be versatile.
• Fantastic communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills: able to identify and resolve issues and to adapt best practices across institutions.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
