As an Associate Sales Representative for our Advanced Surgery division, you will build trust and achieve results by representing Baxter's deep portfolio of surgical products. You will be the primary connection to healthcare professionals, promoting our hemostats, sealing, and tissue products within an assigned geography. Your role is crucial in helping surgical teams innovate and think creatively in the operating room. We are seeking individuals who take personal accountability for achieving results and can successfully navigate the customer's buying process.


Responsibilities

  • Understand all products, surgical specialties, and devices within the portfolio.
  • Cover cases with existing surgeons and communicate outcomes, changes, and opportunities to the Region Manager (RM), Territory Business Manager (TBM), and Cardiovascular Portfolio Manager (CV PM).
  • Successfully build and maintain new and existing client relationships.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot in-place equipment and conduct education in-services for Baxter regulators and spray equipment.
  • Ensure on-label usage of Baxter products through presence in the surgical suite and in-servicing.
  • Understand the industry and marketplace, including competition, and strategically apply this knowledge to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with RM, TBM, and CV PM to develop a plan to reach financial goals and quotas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience OR 4+ years of relevant sales or operating room environment experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior sales experience or clinical experience preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • At least 50% travel is required, potentially to remote or urban areas, individually or with other personnel.
  • Must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with the posted territory is strongly desired.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated Pay Range: $66,400 to $91,300 annually. (Note: Actual pay may vary based on market data and other factors).
  • Location Type: On-site (Requires living within the assigned geographic territory or willingness to relocate).
  • Travel: At least 50% travel required.
