Requirements

A college degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, along with at least one year of proven successful sales experience. Two years of customer service experience is also preferred. Candidates must possess strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Salesforce/CRM systems is desired. Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. Technical aptitude, math, estimating, and analytical skills, along with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities are necessary. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and pursue continuous training and development is essential. The role requires the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, and lift/move items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales, market share, and wall share by developing and maintaining consultative relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and distribution partners. This includes following up on web and email leads, making outbound calls to potential and existing customers, and handling inbound sales leads to qualify them. The manager will utilize Salesforce/CRM for opportunity management, create new business with various construction professionals, and provide technical and product support. Responsibilities also include AIA reporting, establishing and maintaining positive customer relations, and complying with safety policies.
