Requirements

Candidates must possess an active New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. Experience or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, or MI is required. Applicants should be confident working in virtual settings, comfortable with concurrent documentation, and possess strong communication skills for building relationships. Holding an active LPC license in Pennsylvania, having experience with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or co-occurring substance use, and enjoying the use of technology to enhance care delivery are considered bonus points.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide initial diagnostic assessments and treatment recommendations for patients. They will create personalized, goal-driven treatment plans and deliver therapy entirely via telehealth. Responsibilities include documenting in real time using EHR tools, participating in ongoing collaboration with the clinical team, and being available and engaged during scheduled hours, with no on-call requirements.
