An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Territory Manager to join our expanding Structural Heart division. Based in Queensland and reporting to the Field Sales Manager (Structural Intervention), this role is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products within an assigned territory.

This position will primarily focus on clinical and sales support for Structural Intervention, encompassing PFO occlusion therapy, LAA occlusion therapy, and Congenital Heart disease occluders.

This is a complex procedure requiring a high level of clinical understanding. Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is advantageous, as is medical device sales experience. The primary scope of this role is to cover Western Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and other clinical stakeholders with Structural Intervention case planning, including assessing patient suitability.
  • Provide clinical case coverage during Structural Intervention procedures.
  • Interact with customers and clinical stakeholders for post-case Structural Intervention discussions and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and physicians within the Structural Intervention account (e.g., Interventionalists, Echo Cardiologists, CV Surgeons, Nurse Coordinators, Nurse Unit Managers, General Cardiologists) to generate awareness and referrals.
  • Assist in conducting customer training workshops (including echo workshops), from on-boarding to continuous education, to maintain and increase physician skill levels.
  • Optimize processes related to patient screening and procedure scheduling.
  • Call on referring physicians to present Structural Intervention technology and clinical data.
  • Support local and national conferences and programs.
  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share for your territory, while providing input to the overall performance of the state.
  • Develop relationships with and service key customer groups, identifying and utilizing key customer networks.
  • Manage consignment stock.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of industry processes and functions, with the ability to confidently discuss these with customers and internal/external experts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales Experience / Medical Clinical Support.
  • Medical experience is necessary.
  • Structural Intervention experience is favorable but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record in sales / clinical excellence with procedure-enabling devices requiring significant clinician training.
  • Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is advantageous.
  • Medical Device sales experience is highly regarded.
