Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Science, or Sales, which is preferred. They should have a successful history of time and territory management, along with a proven sales performance and territory track record, or the ability to meet and exceed forecast expectations. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and experience utilizing Sales Force.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software are also beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Territory Business Manager will manage the Dakotas and western Minnesota territory to drive and support growth with Neogen Food Safety Products, implementing and executing on business priorities and delivering on financial and forecast expectations. They will conduct business planning to drive growth with direct, indirect (channel), Key Accounts, and focused market segments, develop sales strategies, and adjust them to meet changing market and competitive conditions. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities, closing sales to achieve quotas, managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services. Additionally, the Territory Business Manager will play a key role in increasing revenue, independently managing and growing business within a set geography, closing and growing sales, identifying and resolving client concerns, expanding market awareness of Neogen products, maintaining records of customer communications, preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs, attending trade shows, and demonstrating product knowledge.
