Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling life science reagents and solutions, with essential experience selling next generation sequencing target enrichment products. Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications is a necessity, along with preferred experience in technical sales and support or field applications. Familiarity with Salesforce.com is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The NGS Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering revenue and driving growth in their territory, maintaining knowledge of competitor products and escalating their activities, providing customer feedback on Twist Bioscience products, identifying unmet customer needs, attaining quarterly and annual revenue targets, developing and managing key customer relationships, developing contingency plans, developing and executing supply agreements, collaborating with product management and R&D, maintaining CRM database, representing the company at tradeshows, and maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape while introducing new product ideas. They will also perform additional duties as assigned.
