Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience, with a Master's in animal science being a plus. A minimum of 3 years of cattle-related experience is required, along with preferred animal health experience and knowledge of the Dairy/Beef/Equine industry. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications is necessary, as is a valid driver's license and the willingness to travel overnight approximately 20% of the time, including some weekends. A strong understanding of nutrition, bunk management, health, performance, processing, and cattle markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Territory Business Manager will manage the Zoetis Beef business in the Southern Texas Panhandle, calling on feed yards, cow/calf producers, veterinarians, dealers, and distributor representatives. Responsibilities include quantifying and qualifying product differences, conducting educational training and sales presentations, and building relationships within key trade channels. The role involves managing a broad geographic area to achieve sales targets and market share, planning and prioritizing territory activities through data analysis, and executing business plans. Additionally, managers must build customer trust, share knowledge as a team player, and perform other assigned duties.
