Physician Reviewers are compensated on a per-case basis as a 1099 independent contractor.

Is this a remote position, and are there location requirements?

This is a telework opportunity with flexibility in scheduling, but candidates must be in the Dallas or Houston area of Texas and hold a valid Texas license.

What key skills and experience are required for this position?

Required experience includes strong analysis of CPT codes with state fee schedules across jurisdictions, in-depth understanding of CPT codes and state-specific fees, and testimony/deposition/counter affidavit work. Additional requirements are a valid Texas license, access to a TX notary, and maintaining proper credentialing.
