Reporting to the Technical Service Supervisor, this position will be based in the Diagnostics area, supporting the technical team responsible for large automated clinical laboratory installations.

Job Family: Field Services Division: CRLB Core Lab Work Shift: Standard Travel: Yes, 50% of the Time Significant Work Activities: Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to clinical teams in large automated laboratories for instrumentation management.
• Accompany engineering teams in Portugal for installation and maintenance activities.
• Execute maintenance activities on assigned instruments within deadlines, adapting to client operational needs.
• Provide first-line service support for analytical instruments (interventions with work time less than 2 hours).
• Assist in the installation and uninstallation of instruments.

Success in this role will be measured by the execution of the maintenance plan, controlling the cost of preventive maintenance activities, and ensuring the optimal performance of assigned instruments.

Requirements

• Technical knowledge of mechanics, electricity, or electronics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good knowledge of English (minimum B2).
• High analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to integrate and work efficiently in multidisciplinary environments.
• National mobility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of IT/networks/programming.
