Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, and a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechatronics, electronics/engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required, along with an interest in technology and IT trends. Knowledge of electron microscopes is considered an advantage, and a valid driver’s license is necessary.
Field Service Engineers will provide technical support and assistance, ensuring the efficient performance of Electron Microscopes through on-site installation, repair, testing, and maintenance. They will conduct troubleshooting and repair of equipment, working directly with customers to address their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Engineers will develop positive relationships with customers and company personnel, submit detailed field service reports, and offer feedback to product quality and sales teams while updating system documentation. Furthermore, they will provide training and mentorship to customers and new field service engineers, and act as a subject matter expert.
