Summary: Must live in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood/Miami area proper. The Field Service Engineer position will provide on-site customer product support for Illumina's products.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems in defined territory.
• Troubleshoot and repair system problems.
• Submit service reports, expense reports, and "Bug" reports in a timely manner.
• Enter work performed in service database in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service spares inventory.
• Revise/review SOPs.
• Demonstrated ability to align optical systems.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated Base Salary Range: $73,400 - $110,200 (for Field Service Engineer, South Florida role)
  • Note: The applicable base pay range may be updated based on changes in the level or location of the role during the hiring process. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
• Variable Cash Program: Eligible for bonus or commission.
