Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues are required, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Familiarity with support ticketing systems and trouble ticket management is also necessary, and proficiency in creating reports and analyzing performance metrics is expected. ITIL certification or experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Technical Support Lead will oversee the daily operations of the technical support department, leading, mentoring, and developing a team of technical support agents while promoting a collaborative and productive environment. They will troubleshoot complex technical issues escalated by team members, offer solutions, establish and refine support processes, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Analyzing support metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies accordingly, providing ongoing training to the support team, acting as a liaison between the support team and other departments, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and knowledge base articles are also key responsibilities.
