Requirements

Candidates should have experience in a product technical support role supporting global enterprise customers. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, customer focus, analytical thinking, and logical troubleshooting aptitude are required. Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues at the application and operating system level within Windows, Linux, or Mac environments is necessary. A solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, including user and kernel space, memory management, shared libraries, file and network I/O, Windows registry, and software distribution, is essential. Hands-on experience using tools and techniques to debug problems within Windows, Linux, or Mac environments is also required. Bonus points for specialization in SIEM/SOAR with experience in log management tools, Kafka, containers, container administration/orchestration, Regex, query languages, or SIEM/SOAR platform certifications. Alternatively, bonus points for specialization in Identity Management with hands-on experience in Windows Servers/Active Directory, MFA, Identity Protection, Zero Trust solutions, authentication protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM, SAML), and network troubleshooting using Wireshark/PCAP analysis, along with operational understanding of networking devices.

Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will work with CrowdStrike customers globally, troubleshooting, identifying root causes, and resolving customer problems to ensure they receive maximum benefit from their investment. You will demonstrate ownership of customer concerns, assess impact, troubleshoot logically, engage relevant stakeholders, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalations quickly. You will collaborate with product experts and engineering to fix bugs or enhance product features, manage time to meet or exceed operational goals, and learn cutting-edge technologies and new product features. Additionally, you will create and share knowledge articles, contribute to mentoring and training efforts, and may be scheduled for shifts or holidays as per business requirements.
