Requirements

Candidates must hold a minimum of an Associate’s degree in a science or technology field and have at least 3 years of customer service experience, including extensive written correspondence. They should be able to explain technical concepts to various audiences and possess computer literacy with a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is essential, along with attention to detail in documentation and a fair grasp of algebra and geometry concepts. Knowledge of business etiquette is also required.

Responsibilities

The Technical Services Representative will provide customer education on the client's services via phone or email and determine the best course of action to meet customer needs. They will offer technical assistance on test program setup and maintain continuous client contact during testing while documenting all customer interactions. The role involves discussing requests with the Inside Sales Leader to assess project feasibility, reviewing testing standards and engineering drawings, and creating proposals for testing at all client locations. Additionally, the representative will follow up on cost estimates and unreceived tests, attend trade shows to represent the client, and actively participate in hurricane preparation.
