Requirements

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in repairing electrical, mechanical, medical, refrigeration, or laboratory equipment is required. A certification, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in HVAC, electronics, or engineering is helpful. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Field Service Engineers will provide repair, installation, and maintenance services on laboratory equipment, including temperature monitoring, incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, freezers, and cryogenic storage. They will work directly with customers to schedule visits, address concerns, and resolve problems, while also completing learning assignments, submitting expense reports, and maintaining spare part inventory. Approximately 10% overnight travel is required for customer service and training, and they will utilize a Company vehicle for daily travel to customer locations.
