Candidates must possess a B.S. in an engineering discipline, with an M.S. or Ph.D. preferred, and have at least 5 years of relevant program management experience. A proven track record of successfully delivering complete systems, including hardware, firmware, software, and algorithms, on time and to scope is essential. Experience in the development and/or program management of satellite-based systems, including the ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules, is required. Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration, and experience in vendor and contract management are also necessary.
The Technical Program Manager will lead multidisciplinary aerospace development efforts, driving day-to-day program execution and engaging with stakeholders to plan and coordinate necessary resources. Responsibilities include synchronizing diverse technical teams by establishing tools, practices, and processes, and participating in technical discussions to define scope, schedules, and solutions. The role involves tracking and reporting program metrics on schedule, resource, cost, risk, and technical performance, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
