Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related design discipline, with at least 6 years of relevant engineering experience. This includes a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial role, demonstrating success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in regulated environments like nuclear or aerospace. Experience with safety-critical systems, configuration management, and proficiency in systems engineering principles, lifecycle models, and requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama Connect are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with MBSE tools and system architecture frameworks.
The Systems Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership in system architecture, requirement development, and integration activities. They will drive the improvement of system engineering processes, tools, and standards, and coordinate the review and update of design procedures and technical guidelines. This role involves partnering with Project Engineering and Management teams throughout the project lifecycle, leading verification and validation planning, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to embed system-level thinking across engineering disciplines.
