Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in immersive, interactive, XR, or unconventional video game projects
  • Technical expertise in real-time game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity)
  • Knowledge of interactive systems (sensors, computer vision, tracking, physical input)
  • Strong understanding of hardware infrastructure: AV, networking, synchronization, spatial rendering, etc
  • Excellent programming skills applied to immersive media (e.g., VR, AR, interactive environments, game engines)
  • Proven experience managing technical teams (development, AV, R&D, integration)
  • Ability to anticipate technical risks and propose concrete, realistic, and innovative solutions
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders
  • Bilingual in French and English (international team and partners)

Responsibilities

  • Define the technological approach for immersive projects (XR, interactive installations, hybrid environments)
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary technical team (developers, integrators, AV, QA, etc.)
  • Participate in all project phases: ideation, prototyping, development, testing, installation
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the quality of technical deliverables
  • Facilitate client integration of solutions while maintaining close collaboration to understand needs, strengthen relationships, and ensure project success
  • Anticipate scalability, performance, and compatibility constraints (software, hardware, UX)
  • Establish documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement processes
  • Stay actively informed on emerging technologies (XR, haptics, spatial computing, interactive AI, etc.)
  • Contribute to Behaviour’s long-term vision in immersive experiences
  • Manage technical budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee relationships with technical suppliers, integrators, manufacturers, and specialized freelancers
