A bachelor's degree in a related field is desired. Candidates should possess effective communication skills with artists, designers, and engineers, and demonstrate a willingness to solve new problems and a passion for games.
The Principal UI Tech Artist will translate UI/UX designs into functional UIs within Unreal Engine 5, working closely with UI/UX Designers, UI Artists, and UI Engineers. Responsibilities include improving and maintaining UI production workflows, developing materials, and optimizing/integrating assets. The role involves owning and resolving technical issues in UI/UX production, collaborating with artists on visuals for UI animation and materials, and implementing or adjusting UI systems using blueprints. Additionally, the position requires creating and maintaining complex materials for various UI needs, advising on tools and workflows, and producing documentation for pipelines.
