Position Overview

We are looking for two Tech Recruiters to join our Hiring team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Your primary role will be to source and hire talented, diverse individuals for our engineering team.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with Hiring Managers to structure and execute effective hiring processes. This includes identifying essential skills, determining assessment methods, challenging assumptions, and managing the hiring process from start to finish to attract top candidates.
  • Champion Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all candidates. Go the extra mile to make every applicant feel valued and respected, regardless of the outcome. Source candidates from diverse backgrounds and implement strategies to make them feel welcome at Monzo.
  • Streamline Hiring Processes: Continuously refine hiring processes to improve simplicity and effectiveness. Utilize data to identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting for fast-paced, product-focused companies, particularly within the tech industry.
  • A deep commitment to inclusiveness and diversity in hiring.
  • A passion for sourcing and a proven track record of resourcefulness.
  • Empathy, adaptability, and respect for candidates' needs and priorities.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skill in identifying candidate capabilities without solely relying on previous job titles or qualifications.

Desirable Experience

  • In-house recruiting experience at a startup or scale-up company.
  • Direct experience working with senior stakeholders.

Our interview process typically involves three main stages:

  1. 30-minute Recruiter Call
  2. Initial Call with a Team Member
  3. 2-3 Interviews
