The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, motivated, dynamic, and firmly believe in Octopus Energy’s mission of transitioning to renewable energy. They should possess strong sales skills and a proven track record in sales, with experience in both door-to-door sales and stand-based sales. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for piloting sales of energy contracts through both door-to-door outreach and stand-based activities. This includes prospecting, identifying potential clients, organizing travel, managing stand operations, and conducting promotional activities like games. You will also manage and mentor a team of 4-6 sales representatives, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and effectively represent the company’s brand. Furthermore, you will participate in sales forecasting and identify areas for improvement in sales processes and tools.
