Candidates are required to have 8+ years of software product management experience, including at least 3 years of experience managing a team of high-performing product managers, significant experience defining and building enterprise-grade SaaS products with notable technical complexity, and experience working with electric utilities or IoT, familiarity with modern grid management and planning tools and frameworks, or comparable expertise. They must also possess the ability to think strategically with a willingness to be hands-on in day-to-day product work, deep curiosity, a growth mindset, and drive to resolve ambiguity, exceptional oral and written communication skills, demonstrated experience aligning and influencing cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, and a bias for quantifiable results (versus activity) and willingness to hold themselves and others accountable for delivering results.
The Director of Product will align the product strategy for their group with the strategic vision of the company, implement and measure KPIs to track progress, work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to continuously discover and validate the product vision and strategy, establish a product roadmap that continuously delivers fresh value to utility clients, evaluate and implement solutions to help us rapidly grow several lines of business, delivering scalable, delightful products on time, lead and mentor a team of product managers focused on solving problems and discovering opportunities, and work with other people managers to ensure appropriate staffing to reach our goals. They will also model best-in-class product development skills and help shape process and standards for the entire product management team, bring a fresh perspective to the team, offering suggestions we haven’t considered, pointing out problems that need to be solved, and helping us move forward in our mission, and perform other duties as assigned.
Manages distributed energy resources for utilities
