The Sustainability Sales Executive, Renewable Energy Solutions Scope 2 will be responsible for the development and commercial close of customer mandates and services within the Renewable Energy Solutions practice. This role is crucial for the development, positioning, and proposal management of our products and services. You will execute World Fuel Services' strategy to identify, develop, and pursue sales of our Renewable Energy products across all of Scope 2, with a focus on Solar PV solutions and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), to new and existing clients. You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Key Account Managers, and Marketing to support commercial activities.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant sales experience in renewable energy solutions.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to identify and implement initiatives to achieve sales objectives.
    • Proven track record in driving business development strategies and commercial activities.
    • Experience in leading consultative selling processes.
    • Proficient in leading sales presentations (on-site and virtual).
    • Ability to collaborate with functional teams on solution design.
    • Experience in supporting proposal preparations and contract negotiations.
    • Skill in managing margins through market condition analysis.
    • Experience with CRM systems (specifically Salesforce.com).
    • Knowledge of solar PV/REC Renewable Energy market trends, opportunities, and new technologies.
    • Ability to seek and share knowledge of industry trends and competitors.
    • Willingness to attend relevant industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement initiatives to achieve Solar PV and REC sales objectives, including Gross Profit (GP)/sales volume and increased positive bottom-line results.
  • Be responsible for individual sales and goals.
  • Drive business development strategies and commercial activities with new and existing clients.
  • Lead the consultative selling process for prospects and clients.
  • Lead on-site and virtual sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Engage, synthesize, and collaborate with functional teams on solution design for optimal success.
  • Provide/coordinate support for proposal preparations and contract negotiations for complex commercial transactions.
  • Manage margins through continuous review of market conditions and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with team leadership and management, maintaining weekly updates on pipeline management and documenting activities in Salesforce.com (CRM).
  • Maintain knowledge of solar PV/REC Renewable Energy market trends, opportunities, and new technologies, applying a customer lens.
  • Seek and share knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives as required.
