Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability reporting requirements, specifically the GHG protocol, demonstrated project management skills, proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data management processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. They should also have keen analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the organization, along with knowledge of and experience managing GHG inventory data.
The Senior Sustainability Analyst will oversee annual sustainability report messaging, working with various departments and stakeholders while managing overall engagement efforts. They will be responsible for the Greenhouse Gas, water, and other inventories, completing calculations based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and other relevant standards, coordinating the third-party verification process, developing and owning key performance indicators to support reporting, and supporting the creation of process documentation and project deliverables. The role also includes supporting department leadership in advocating for project deliverables, planning and facilitating working sessions, supporting sustainability product delivery, facilitating working sessions with subject matter experts, driving internal communications and training programs, developing and tracking financial and performance metrics related to sustainability activities, developing business cases for sustainability activities, developing and maintaining sustainability reporting dashboards and databases, building new analytics capabilities, and supporting groups of internal and external resources across all phases of project delivery. Additionally, they will review updates and developments across standards organizations, attend industry events, and perform other job duties as assigned.
