This position seeks an experienced and highly motivated sales professional to manage a sales region. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling our marketing-leading Identity Management solutions to both end-users and channel partners, leveraging all routes to market. The role requires a deep understanding of the client’s business and industry, the ability to identify needs and develop compelling business value proposals, and ultimately, closing business. The Sales Executive will also cultivate trusted relationships with senior-level decision makers and key buyers within named accounts and partners. This role is a core part of the company’s success and emphasizes strategic thinking, data analysis, and persuasive communication skills.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly within the Identity Management or related technology space, is expected.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle (qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, negotiations, and closing).
  • Ability to develop and execute business plans aligned with geographic and business needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with senior-level decision makers.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Ability to understand and communicate product and technological strategies employed by competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Sell to and support both end-users and channel partners, leveraging all routes to market.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and the industry in which they compete.
  • Identify needs that the company can help resolve.
  • Develop compelling business value proposals for our solutions.
  • Close business deals.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision makers and key buyers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute marketing plans through/with end users and partners.
  • Follow-up on all leads and update internal systems.
  • Marshal and lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages.
  • Provide consistent and ongoing coverage of accounts, including new sales opportunities, in collaboration with post-sale account managers.
  • Understand and work in all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
  • Understand and communicate all product and technological strategies employed by competitive and complementary organizations in the SailPoint market space.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive, professional ‘total customer service’ attitude and demonstrate the company’s Core Values.
  • Coordinate, plan, and schedule sales support.
