Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in building alliances go-to-market or partner sales within B2B SaaS. Prior experience in developing joint value propositions and go-to-market plans with named partnerships is necessary. A deep familiarity with CRM and Martech ecosystems, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, and Marketo, is required. Proven track record in building alliances across all phases, including product integration, joint messaging, go-to-market execution, and sales scaling, is essential. Experience in running executive QBRs and comfort engaging with multiple stakeholders, including product, marketing, sales leadership, and external partner executives, are also required. The role prefers candidates located on the West Coast of the U.S. but is open to remote work.
The Strategic Alliances Specialist will build relationships and execute go-to-market events with named strategic alliances. They will drive demand generation and account mapping with alliance sales teams, and foster co-marketing and co-selling motions to bring integrations to market. This role involves executing joint go-to-market plans with technology partners and Customer.io's sales and marketing teams, as well as developing joint marketing materials and establishing bidirectional executive relations. The specialist will enable Customer.io Account Executives and Partner Managers to effectively position and sell integrations, and be responsible for delivering partner revenue outcomes, including sourced pipeline, influenced deals, and new customer growth. They will also represent Customer.io at ecosystem events, partner summits, and joint customer-facing activities.
