Tools that automatically collect sensitive user identifiers and healthcare information are often not HIPAA compliant, making simple tasks like running ads difficult for healthcare companies. Freshpaint provides a layer of data governance to make current web analytics tools HIPAA-compliant. This allows our customers to continue gaining valuable insights to improve the patient experience and safeguard health information while promoting access to care through popular advertising platforms like Facebook and Google.
In essence, Freshpaint helps healthcare marketers promote access to care and safeguard patient privacy simultaneously. This is a critical and complex problem within a massive market, as healthcare constitutes 20% of the US GDP.

Freshpaint is a fully remote company. While we do not consider location, we only hire within the US. Many of our team members are concentrated in major metro areas like San Francisco or New York City. To foster connection, we gather the team twice a year for offsites. Our Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) are responsible for the entire lifecycle relationship with our most strategic and important customers. They guide these customers through the complexities of data privacy and Freshpaint’s offerings. SAMs work closely with customers to understand their business needs and how to best support them on their data privacy journeys, leveraging the expertise of Freshpaint’s broader teams.
Ensures HIPAA compliance for digital analytics
Freshpaint provides a solution for healthcare providers and related businesses to comply with HIPAA regulations, which protect patients' medical records and health information. Their main service replaces non-compliant tracking technologies with their own, ensuring that Protected Health Information (PHI) is not shared with advertising and analytics tools. This allows businesses to use existing tools like Google Analytics without risking HIPAA violations.
