Candidates should have experience in full-cycle sales, including territory planning, pipeline generation, and closing sales opportunities. A proven ability to build and maintain a viable pipeline is essential. The role requires developing multi-year account and territory plans, as well as tailored strategies to position the company's platform across multiple business units and economic buyers. Candidates must be able to build trusted relationships with C-level executives by understanding their priorities and delivering aligned solutions. Experience in identifying prospective customers' pain points, educating them on value propositions, highlighting differentiators, demonstrating products, and guiding prospects through the sales process is necessary. Approximately 25%-30% travel is required for client and partner meetings, as well as events and conferences.
The Strategic Account Executive will sell AuditBoard products to large publicly traded and private organizations, focusing on expanding business opportunities in existing and new customer accounts within an assigned territory. This includes a split of cross-sell/up-sell and net new business acquisition. The role involves collaborating with C-level executives to develop tailored solutions that meet their specific needs, co-creating solutions and business cases to enable stakeholder adoption, and working closely with Sales Development Representatives, Product Solutions Specialists, and Value Architects to achieve sales goals.
