Requirements

Candidates should possess extensive closing experience in a software or SaaS business, managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise deals, and have experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding their quota. Experience selling highly technical products/services is also required, along with familiarity with eCommerce providers such as Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Cleverbridge and subscription based services like Chargebee, Zuora, and Recurly. Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company and selling to technical persons, (CTO, Head of Product, (Technical) Founders) is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will manage a book of business of strategic prospects within the Americas, leading the development and execution of deal strategy and commercial negotiations. You will drive new business through strategic prospecting and leveraging Business Development Representative support and Marketing resources, own the full sales cycle including discovery, value positioning, objection handling, and champion building, and employ a visionary solution-selling approach to demonstrate Paddle’s impact and align solutions with customers’ long-term goals. You will also master Paddle’s product, identify client needs, develop tailored sales strategies, and work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and integrated sales strategies.
